Keven H. Strehle, President / Executive Producer
Award-winning television producer and cinematographer, Keven Strehle is founder and owner of Seattle-based Strehle Media Group, Inc. Strehle is a 22-time Emmy award winner with over two decades of television broadcast experience.
Strehle is currently producing two series for national broadcast, FIRE LINE a documentary following the US Forest Service as they battle the blazes that threaten our homes and our nations resources. The 6 part hour long programs will be completed in July and will air on national television network, HALOGEN TELEVISON and WILD COUNTRY, a 13 episode action adventure program featuring conservation, stewardship and restoration issues affecting the land we are privileged to have here in the United States.

During a 12 year career with KING Television in Seattle, Strehle excelled as producer and director of photography for the popular action adventure show “Northwest Backroads,” which aired new episodes under Strehle throughout the Pacific Northwest and in British Columbia for 7-years/14 seasons.
He has traveled the globe, shooting, writing, editing and post-producing for national networks, Olympic Broadcasting Services, ABC, NBC, CBS, has shot NFL sidelines and under the hoop when our Sonic still called Seattle Home. For Backroads, Strehle produced over 175 programs and nearly a thousand documentary-style stories for the show as well as for broadcast on the popular Seattle-based program “Evening Magazine.” His work includes top-rated tourism-theme broadcasts, co-produced with reporter/producer John Stofflet (see bio, about us) from British Columbia, Scotland, Iceland, Germany, Amsterdam, and Mexico.

Winner of more than 175 industry awards and honors, including the coveted Edward R. Murrow journalism award, Strehle is well-known for superior storytelling through intimate interview techniques, excellent visuals, compelling natural sound and strong writing and editing. He has been recognized in the areas of reporting, photography, lighting, editing, sound and writing. He was named 1999 Photographer of the Year by the National Press Photographers Association, one of only 11 photographers nationwide
to receive the prestigious honor.
Strehle is a former board member and chair of the annual Best of Television Photojournalism contest of the 10,000 plus-member National Press Photographers Association. He also served on the board of the Seattle chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. He is an associate professor of Broadcast Journalism at Highline Community College in the Seattle metropolitan area and is a nationally respected lecturer and instructor.
